Supporting Women in their Leadership Journey - Principal & Senior

Rationale

The new CEOM resource, Supporting Women in their Leadership Journey, outlines and responds to the national and international research that indicates that women continue to need support and encouragement to embark on and continue their leadership journeys. The Resource also draws on the wisdom and leadership journeys of women who have attended CEOM women in leadership programs and incorporates the strategies and advice gained from these programs.

Goal

This Principal & Senior Leader Introduction provides the opportunity for participants to learn more about the new CEOM resource Supporting Women in their Leadership Journey and to gain insight into strategies being engaged to support its implementation within and across schools.

The half day program will include an introduction to the Resource and how it can be used to support women leaders in Catholic schools. It will also outline the Women Leaders Connect networking strategy which aims to bring women together to support each other in their leadership journeys using the themes and wisdom of the Resource.

Target Group

This activity targets all Principals and Senior Leaders who are committed to further developing women's leadership capability and are interested in supporting women leaders and women aspiring to leadership within their own and other schools.
