Newly opened spaces at Trinity Catholic School

Trinity blessing_largerThe children at Trinity Catholic School in Richmond North were excited to celebrate the opening of their new Resource Centre and Multi Purpose Room, on 18 November. They no longer have to see scaffolding and temporary fencing or listen to the construction noises while they play. Taking part in the event with the pupils were Stephen Elder, Executive Director of the Catholic Education Office Melbourne; Parish Priest Father Stan Lim SJ; Senator Gavin Marshall, Federal Member of Parliament; and Principal Licia Marchese.

Ms Marchese commented that the new facilities will be fantastic resources for the school. ‘We're very grateful for the Building the Education Revolution (BER) program that enabled us to build these wonderful facilities. The Resource Centre is being used by the children as an extension of their classroom for research and is another tool we can use to enhance children's learning outcomes. The Multi Purpose Room allows us more flexibility in the programs we can offer in collaboration with the community. It was definitely worth the wait.’
